We aim to understand the causes of ALS/MND and frontotemporal dementia, to find cures for disease
Our lab uses cutting-edge biochemistry, imaging, genetic model systems and pathology studies to investigate the molecular causes of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)/motor neuron disease (MND) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
Our goal is to find new ways to prevent, treat, and cure these devastating diseases.
Join us!
We have open postdoctoral fellow positions in our lab - researching molecular mechanisms and treatments for MND and FTD, using transgenic mice, viruses, neuronal cell culture, human tissues, and protein/RNA analysis. Experience with transgenic and viral mouse models, or with advanced imaging, bioinformatics and molecular biology approaches, would be an advantage.
We are also interested to talk with potential rotation, winter/summer, Honours, Masters, and PhD students.
Get in touch with Adam to discuss.
